Netflix Games Exclusive Assassin’s Creed Game Seemingly Cancelled

Assassin's Creed Mirage

Netflix’s gaming platform has seemingly canceled an exclusive Assassin’s Creed, which was announced via a Ubisoft partnership all the way back in 2022. Here are all the details.

What Has Happened?

The long-awaited Assassin’s Creed Netflix mobile game has seemingly been cancelled by Netflix. Alain Tascan, the President of Netflix Games, had a chat with GameFile to discuss the live-action Assassin’s Creed TV show, which was announced five years ago and is still being worked on. However, Alain also alluded to the Assassin’s Creed mobile game that was announced as a Netflix exclusive in 2022 being cancelled. This doesn’t come as a surprise as Netflix has been refocusing its gaming efforts on bigger titles that can be played on TVs, whilst Ubisoft has been hit with financial issues due to poor sales of a number of titles. Nothing has been confirmed about the future of the Assassin’s Creed mobile game; however, the fact that both companies that were working on this project have been moving towards other projects and there have been no updates in years signals that this game is cancelled.
