Netflix Games has had a strong year so far in 2024, and June was no exception. In this article, we are going to go over the four games that were added to Netflix Games, including two that were developed internally by Netflix Games’ own game studio teams. Underwatermelon Fruit Melon (Cloud):
Let’s go over the cloud game first, and if you’re a casual gamer or fan of merge games, then this is definitely a game you want to check out. Underwatermelon Fruit Merge is a merge game where you shoot different fruits at each other in order for them to merge as you try to merge the fruit into watermelons. How high will your score go in this brand-new merge game from Netflix-owned Next Games, the developer behind Stranger Things Puzzle Tales? This game is the only cloud game on our list and the first of two games developed by Netflix’s internal game studios.
Cozy Grove Camp Spirit (Mobile):
The next game on our list is the sequel to the fan favourite Cozy Grove. In this game, you take control of a spirit scout who gets separated from their scout group and must help ghostly spirit bears in order to repair her broken scout bus and reunite with her scout group. This game is developed by the same studio that created the original 2016 indie hit. Spry Fox developed this game and it is the second game from a Netflix Game Studio, which they published on Netflix Games in June 2024.
Hearts (Mobile):
The next game on our list is the video game Hearts. Based on the real-life card game of the same name, this is an adaption which you can play on the go without the fear of losing your deck of cards. This is a game for card sharks who are looking for a way to play their favorite game without actually being in the same room as their opponents.
The Case Of The Golden Idol (Mobile):
The final game on our list is The Case Of The Golden Idol where you play as a 17th Century detective who must uncover a series of murders. This version of the game includes two DLC prequel chapters which are exclusive to mobile via Netflix Games. This game is a point-and-click video game, which is a genre that has a number of fans; however, this game is relatively hard for gamers who have never played a point-and-click game before.
