Amazon Games has announced the return of the Legacy of Crassus event in New World: Aeternum, running from March 11 to March 31, 2025. This time, the event brings an extended battle period and improved loot rewards, offering players even greater challenges and spoils.
For this year’s edition of Legacy of Crassus, Amazon Games has extended the event by an additional week, allowing players more time to take on Crassus and his formidable forces. The battle promises to be tougher than ever, with Crassus now stronger and more relentless, testing players’ combat skills to their limits.
Loot System Enhancements
To make the grind more rewarding, the loot system has been overhauled:
- New GS 710 Items: Players now have the chance to earn Gear Score (GS) 710 versions of Crassus’ exclusive weapons and armor, offering significant power boosts.
- Daily Loot Limit: To maintain balance and fairness, players can obtain only one GS 710 item per day.
Exclusive Rewards & How to Earn Them
Defeating Crassus’ level 70 minions, Lucanus and Decimus, will grant event-specific rewards. To qualify for loot, players must deal at least 1,000 damage in battle.
Loot Breakdown
Each run provides a Normal Box (unlimited) and a Bonus Box (limited to three per day), containing the following:
- Normal Box:
- GS 700 random weapon, armor, or shield
- Black Gypsum (up to 3 per day)
- Various perk items and crafting materials
- Health and mana potions
- Bonus Box:
- GS 700 Crassus Named Item (Guaranteed)
- Second GS 700 Crassus Named Item (33% chance)
- GS 710 Crassus Named Item (30% chance, 1 per week limit)
- Special event items, including the 9th Legion Pickaxe and Cyclops Statuettes (2.5% drop chance, 1 per event)
Additionally, after opening eight Bonus Boxes, players are guaranteed a GS 710 Named Item, the 19th Legion Pickaxe, and Cyclops Statuettes, provided they haven’t reached the event’s loot cap.
Standard Rewards for Multiple Victories
For players looking to farm Crassus’ forces, each successful battle grants:
- A GS 700 weapon or armor piece (90% chance)
- A special Named Item from Brimstone Sands or greater Aeternum (10% chance)
- Level-appropriate consumables (health, mana, etc.)
Daily rewards reset at 5 a.m. local time, so strategic players can maximize their loot potential.
With an extended event duration, improved loot, and tougher battles, Legacy of Crassus promises to be an intense challenge for New World: Aeternum players.
