Overthrown Receives Its First Major Update in Early Access

Overthrown

Overthrown, the chaotic city-building and management game, has received its first major update, as announced by Maximum Entertainment. The Livestock Update introduces several new features, including new farm animals, buildings, destruction mechanics, and general improvements.

This update brings the game’s first farm animals, called Woolies, allowing players to expand their kingdom’s production and management options. Additionally, new destruction mechanics using fire and mortars have been added, along with new buildings and citizens to enhance the game’s depth and immersion.

A Chaotic Co-op Experience

Overthrown puts players in the role of Runa, a monarch wielding a magical soul-stealing crown that grants immense power. The goal is to establish a kingdom in a wild land filled with mutants and bandits while building and managing resources. Either alone or in co-op mode with up to six players. Players can construct buildings such as a butcher shop, ale house, and sawmills. Adapt to changing seasons, and harness the power of the crown to maintain the realm.

Overthrown is available now on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview and is included with Xbox Game Pass. The game’s full 1.0 release is planned for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5. For more details on the update, you can check the full patch notes on Steam.
