A Glimmer of Hope
As a close follower of the service since its relaunch, I can confirm this is the best month PlayStation fans have seen yet in both quality and quantity of games. These additions bolster what has slowly been building up to be the largest selection of AAA games across gaming history. Sony undeniably has a ways to go to justify their pricing and bone-headed market strategies, but we can be grateful for the progress regardless.
These new additions mean you can now play the first three Wild Arms games in the series, both Horizon games, the quadrilogy of Borderlands, and 11 Resident Evil games, which include 4,5,6 and now 7. Also, The Quarry is playable, which was originally planned as a Stadia Exclusive. That means you can play a Stadia game on an inferior cloud gaming platform, which feels both vindicating and insulting at the same time.
Sony doesn’t release the timing that these games will remain on the service, but it’s a safe bet that their PS1 titles, as well is Horizon (a first-party title), will exist as long as the service does. PlayStation cloud gaming is available on PS4,PS5 and Windows PC’s.
