Three Solid Titles Will Kick Off May’s PlayStation Plus Offerings
Sony has announced the three games that will kick off the PlayStation Plus offerings for May 2025.
All three games are solid entries to the service. You can see the details for each game below:
ARK: Survival Ascended
ARK is reimagined from the ground-up into the next-generation of video game technology with Unreal Engine 5! Form a tribe, tame & breed hundreds of unique dinosaurs and primeval creatures. Explore, craft, build, and fight your way to the top of the food-chain. Your new world awaits!
Balatro
The poker roguelike. Balatro is a hypnotically satisfying deckbuilder where you play illegal poker hands, discover game-changing jokers, and trigger adrenaline-pumping, outrageous combos.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun
Load up your Boltgun and unleash the awesome Space Marine arsenal to blast your way through an explosion of sprites, pixels and blood in a perfect blend of Warhammer 40,000, frenetic gameplay and the stylish visuals of 90’s retro shooters.
Balatro, especially, is a very strong pick-up for PlayStation Plus. The game is very highly regarded and has won several awards. If you are yet to check out Balatro and plan to play it on PS Plus when it arrives in May, why not check out the official Cloud Dosage review?
More To Come
Of course, these games are just the first batch of PlayStation Plus titles for May 2025. The titles that are being added to the Extra and Premium tiers will be announced later in the month.
PlayStation gamers will have until May 5th to download the current batch of monthly PlayStation Plus titles. Of course, if you don’t want to download them just yet, you can simply add them to your library to be downloaded at a later date
These games include:
- Robocop: Rogue City
- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
- Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory

Another mediocre month. At this rate I’m going to have to seriously reconsider my annual sub 🙁
That’s very much a me problem though. Great games all for someone else – so entitled lol.
