Sony has started sending emails to inform PlayStation Plus subscribers in Canada that the price of their service will be increasing.
The changes will be:
- $189.99 to $224.99 / year for Premium
- $154.99 to $189.99 / year for Extra
- $94.99 to $109.99 / year for Essential
It has also been reported that subscribers in Turkey are also being notified of a price increase of ₺2,740 to ₺4,266 for Premium and ₺2,340 to ₺3,645 for the Extra tier. We were unable to confirm at this time if PS+ essential is also affected for this region.
If you are currently a subscriber and don’t change your plan, the new pricing will take effect as of June 24th 2025. If you wish to subscribe or make any changes to your current plan though, changes take effect immediately.
