Netflix-owned game studio Boss Fight Entertainment has announced the release date for their upcoming video game adaption of the popular Netflix television series Money Heist.
The game is currently available to download, although the game won’t actually be able to play until January 5th, 2024. The official description on the Apple App Store reads: “For them, it’s just a job, for you, It’s personal, the choice is yours, will you avenge your family, or choose to be a team player in this interactive crime story? Join the Professor’s crew for one epic mission in the narrative fiction prequel game, set in the Money Heist universe”.
This is a game I am genuinely excited about, as Money Heist is a TV series that I feel deserves a video game adaptation, as it’s one of Netflix’s most successful shows. The fact Boss Fight Entertainment (a Netflix game studio) is the studio behind it is also pretty cool as they have shown themselves to be quite a capable team who not only developed the RPG game Dungeon Boss Respawned and the dating simulation game Netflix Stories Love Is Blind, so I am optimistic on what their take on Money Heist looks like. Money Heist Ultimate Choice is coming to Netflix Games on January 5th, 2024.
