Just yesterday we posted how 25 new games had opted in to GeForce NOW over the past two weeks including Ride 5 and Age of Wonders 4. But, just a day later, we have another set of three games that have opted in – games that are probably the best of the bunch! Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 have now opted-in to GeForce NOW. And, RESIDENT EVIL RESISTANCE is along for the ride!
We were first made aware of this by a tweet from friend of the site, @inlead, on Twitter. We ran as fast as we could to run our script, and sure enough, Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 (Biohazard) all popped up! The new titles that have opted in include some additional content/versioning as well. To be complete, we list all of the new titles that are opted-in here:
- Resident Evil 7 Biohazard
- RESIDENT EVIL RESISTANCE
- BIOHAZARD RE:3 Z Version
- Resident Evil 3
- Resident Evil 2
- BIOHAZARD RE:2 Z Version
Resident Evil 7 Returns to the Cloud
These Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes are currently available on Amazon Luna. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was at one point available on Luna as well (and of course it was on Stadia). But, for the time being, it is actually not available on any cloud gaming service. It will be great if this game does indeed return to the cloud.
Necessary word of warning: It is important to note that being listed as opting-in is not a *guarantee* that the game will come to GeForce NOW. But, NVIDIA has generally brought over the bigger titles who have opted in. This step indicates that the publisher at least is willing to have NVIDIA add the game.
