The satirical sci-fi adventure sequel, Revenge of the Savage Planet, will launch on May 8 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Raccoon Logic have confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Additionally, players who purchase the digital Cosmic Hoarder Edition will gain early access starting May 5.
This title takes players back to an intergalactic adventure filled with humor, exploration, and action, now in third-person. After being abandoned on an alien planet without a job or a plan, the protagonist must use various tools to survive and find a way home. Players will be able to craft different devices, including goo cannons, lassos, and pistols, using resources collected throughout their journey.
Revenge of the Savage Planet Key Features
The game will offer multiple gameplay modes, including online co-op with crossplay and local split-screen multiplayer. Players can explore four different planets filled with alien creatures, uncover their secrets, and overcome various challenges with action and platforming mechanics.
Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director at Raccoon Logic, highlighted the collaboration with Xbox to bring the game to Game Pass from day one and expressed excitement about seeing players dive into this new adventure packed with humor and discoveries.
Available Editions
Raccoon Logic has announced three different editions of Revenge of the Savage Planet:
- Super Standard Edition ($39.99): Includes the base game and a special cosmetic item for the first month. Available digitally and included with Xbox Game Pass.
- Cosmic Hoarder Edition ($49.99): Includes the base game, three-day early access, additional missions, various special outfits, the official soundtrack, and a digital artbook. Game Pass members can purchase this upgrade starting May 5.
- D1 Retail Edition ($49.99): Physical edition featuring exclusive extra content, such as an alternative appearance and a special collector’s pack.
