ROG Xbox Ally Price Leak Suggests Competitive Pricing

Two handheld gaming consoles, ROG XBOX Ally X and Ally, are displayed in a modern, empty room, hinting at the innovative direction Phil Spencer Xbox 2025 might take.

A recent leak may have revealed the European prices of the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds, suggesting that Microsoft and ASUS could be aiming for a price point similar to the current ROG Ally lineup.

According to 3DJuegos, Google’s search engine briefly listed the Xbox Ally X at €899 and the base Xbox Ally at €599. These figures align with the pricing of the current ROG Ally Z1 and Z1 Extreme models, with the ROG Ally X also listed at €899 across most European retailers.

While these leaked prices could be placeholders, they give a potential glimpse at Microsoft and ASUS’ pricing strategy. If these prices hold true, the Xbox Ally lineup would be positioned to directly compete with devices like the Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go, offering more power while staying within a similar price bracket.

However, direct currency conversions between euros and US dollars may not reflect final pricing in North America due to varying tax, tariff, and retailer conditions. Microsoft and ASUS may reveal more details at Gamescom in August.
