Multiple Xbox Titles Could Be In The Works For Switch 2
Last week, Nintendo finally unveiled the Nintendo Switch 2. Since then, rumours have been swirling about what games could be in development for this new console.
Nintendo Life has reported that one game that could be making the move to Switch 2 is Diablo IV. The rumour comes from known leaker eXtas1s who has a very solid track record when revealing such things.
He made the following comments on his YouTube channel:
“These are two of the video games Microsoft will port to Switch 2, but they aren’t the only ones. In fact, here’s a little bit of an exclusive or scoop I can tell you about. According to what I’ve been told, Diablo 4 is already in the works for Nintendo Switch 2, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Diablo 4 was released in 2025 on Switch 2.”
He also reiterated that Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Flight Sim 2024, Fallout 4 and Starfield could also make their way over to Switch 2.
Another series that is expected to come to Switch 2 is Call of Duty. This is down to the fact that Xbox entered a multiyear agreement with Nintendo to do so.
It certainly should not come as a surprise that Xbox is looking to bring a range of their 1st party games to the Switch 2. They did so with PlayStation in 2024 and it seems that 2025 will see more of their big franchises arrive on the platforms.
