Here’s What Happened

So, what has happened between SNK and Antstream Arcade? Well, after a collaboration that has spanned five years, SNK and Antstream Arcade have failed to agree on a new licensing contract for Antstream’s cloud gaming service to continue to allow SNK games in its roster. With the termination of this contract, it means SNK games like King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and Samurai Shodown will be removed from the Antstream Arcade library by the end of the day on July 31st, 2025. This is a sad day for fans of Antstream Arcade. However, Antstream will likely try to make a new licensing deal with SNK or even make a brand new deal with another third party to fill the gap left by the removal of SNK games.
