Splitgate 2 Will Move Into Open Beta On May 22nd
1047 Games is getting ready to open the portal leading to the open beta for Splitgate 2.
The open beta will officially kick off on May 22nd.
The developer has shared some of the content that you can expect to see in the open beta, which will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
- a 25+ Weapons – featuring the brand new Borealis, an energy carbine power weapon
- a 15+ Maps – including two new massive 24-Player Onslaught maps, Drought and Fracture
- a 10+ Modes – with fan-favorite Takedown making its triumphant comeback, where teams battle to eliminate all members of the opposing team before they can respawn
1047 Games has also stated that it will share more details on the open beta close to its official launch date.
Splitgate 2 was officially announced in July 2024. It will be a free-to-play online shooter for up to 8 players.
No cloud platforms have been officially announced for the game however, it has been opted in for GeForce NOW.
