The next single-player Star Wars game is officially on the way—this time with a tactical twist. Announced ahead of Star Wars Celebration Japan, Star Wars Zero Company is a new turn-based tactics title set during the Clone Wars era. You’ll command an elite unit of unconventional operatives and lead them through missions across the galaxy far, far away.
Zero Company is being developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games. The game promises a new take on Star Wars strategy. A first look at the game will be shown during a special panel at Star Wars Celebration Japan on April 19. The panel will be hosted by Lucy James. The panel will feature developers from Bit Reactor, Respawn, and Lucasfilm Games as they debut world-exclusive gameplay and details.
Early Glimpse and Celebration Art
Lucasfilm also revealed a piece of Celebration key art showcasing members of the mysterious Zero Company squad. Specific character names and roles haven’t been revealed. However, the image hints at a squad made up of distinct personalities, each likely bringing unique abilities to the battlefield.
