K-pop meets combo breakers as Capcom teams up with global sensation aespa for a limited-time Street Fighter 6 collaboration starting July 4, 2025. From a flashy new Juri outfit to a virtual guest commentator and decorated Battle Hub, the Street Fighter 6 and aespa collab brings plenty for both fighting game fans and aespa stans to check out.
Whether you’re in it for the fashion, the fandom, or just want to hear naevis call out your next whiffed super, here’s what to expect.
Meet aespa: K-Pop Meets Digital Worlds
If you aren’t quite sure who aespa are, they’re a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment. The group includes four members: Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. They perform alongside AI avatars as part of a futuristic story about identity and digital life.
aespa debuted in 2020 with the hit single “Black Mamba,” which set a record for the most views on a K-pop debut video in 24 hours. Since then, they’ve grown into one of K-pop’s biggest names with songs like “Next Level” and “Spicy,” blending catchy vocals with high-energy visuals and sci-fi themes.
One part of that world is naevis, a digital ally who now appears in Street Fighter 6 as a real-time commentator. It’s a fitting crossover for a group known for mixing pop music with digital storytelling. Whether you’re just discovering aespa or already a fan, this collab offers a new way to see them on screen.
Juri’s aespa-Inspired Outfit and More Arrive July 4
The collaboration kicks off with a brand-new look for Juri. Her aespa-inspired Outfit 4 brings design motifs from the K-pop group’s past albums and will be available in the in-game shop for 350 Fighter Coins. You can grab it starting July 4, 2025, and it’ll remain available until July 3, 2026.
Street Fighter 6 is also getting its first virtual artist as a real-time commentator. naevis, known as aespa’s digital sidekick, joins the commentary roster with lines recorded in Korean, Japanese, and English. Originally introduced in aespa’s 2020 debut, naevis brings an energetic presence that fans will recognize right away.
That’s not all. Log in between July 4 and August 4 to pick up themed photo frames, device backgrounds, and titles from the in-game aespa x Street Fighter 6 news section. The Battle Hub will be fully decorated during that time, and everyone who logs in gets a free “æconic” collab item.
More Characters, More Outfits, More on the Way to Street Fighter 6
The aespa collaboration is just one part of what’s coming to Street Fighter 6 this summer and beyond. Capcom also confirmed the full Year 3 character roadmap, giving fans a clearer look at who’s stepping into the ring next.
Sagat returns first on August 5, 2025. The legendary Muay Thai fighter brings his classic style back to the roster, along with Outfit 4 sets for seven characters launching the same day. That makes July and August busy months for anyone looking to update their wardrobe or test out new matchups.
Later this year, C. Viper joins the lineup in the fall, followed by Alex in early spring 2026 and Ingrid in late spring 2026. All four characters were officially announced earlier this year, and this update locks in the release windows for each one. If you’ve been keeping up with Street Fighter 6 since launch, now’s a good time to jump back in. Whether you’re coming for the new characters or just curious to see what the aespa collaboration adds to the Battle Hub, there’s a lot to look forward to over the next few months.
With a global pop group stepping into the fight and fan-favourite characters on the way, Street Fighter 6 isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
