Terry Bogard, a renowned character from SNK’s Fatal Fury series, is now available as the first-ever guest character in Street Fighter 6, playable across all platforms. Terry can be used in all three of the game’s modes: World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub. His introduction coincides with the launch of two new training tools, V-Rival and Replay Review, designed to help players enhance their skills.
Terry Bogard in Street Fighter 6
Players can engage with Terry across three game modes:
- World Tour: Terry serves as a new Master, offering players the opportunity to learn his signature moves. Players can also participate in a 3-on-3 battle event called “Knock Out Festival,” set in Metro City.
- Battle Hub: Players can showcase the moves and emotes learned from Terry in the World Tour mode.
- Fighting Ground: Terry’s iconic special moves and Super Arts are available for battles against other players worldwide.
Terry’s second outfit, featuring his classic look from Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, is unlockable via World Tour or can be purchased separately. Additionally, the Street Fighter 6 stage “Pao Pao Café 6” has been added, bringing SNK-themed references for players to discover.
Terry is available through the Year 2 Character/Ultimate Pass or as a standalone purchase for 350 Fighter Coins. The Pao Pao Café 6 stage is also available via the Ultimate Pass or for purchase at 250 Fighter Coins.
New Training Features
Two innovative features, V-Rival and Replay Review, have been introduced to provide players with advanced training tools:
- V-Rival: This mode allows players to battle AI opponents based on real player data from ranked matches. Players can choose opponents by rank and character, offering a chance to practice strategies in a controlled environment.
- Replay Review: Players can take control of either competitor during any point of a replay, allowing them to experiment with different strategies or correct missed opportunities during a match. Additional replay enhancements include the ability to change playback speed, display a frame meter, and use frame advance/rewind functions.
The game has also introduced a variety of updates, including:
- 20 winning illustrations from the Street Fighter Art Contest.
- Comic book-style art of characters created by UDON Comics.
- New avatar costumes and items available in the Hub Goods Shop.
These updates are part of a series of content expansions for Street Fighter 6. Future characters, including Mai and Elena, are set to join the roster in 2025 as part of the Year 2 lineup.
