Ubisoft is joining the May the 4th celebrations with new updates and crossover content in Star Wars Outlaws and Brawlhalla. This offers players a range of new activities, cosmetics, and limited-time events across both games.
Star Wars Outlaws to get a new major update
Star Wars Outlaws is marking the occasion with in-game events, community activities, and giveaways. Starting May 4, players can participate in a photo mode competition by capturing iconic Star Wars locations found in the game. They can then share them online. A Nix plushie giveaway will also be held. Entry details will be posted on Ubisoft’s social media accounts.
A free demo of Star Wars Outlaws is now available and will remain permanently accessible. The trial version offers three hours of gameplay and is available across most platforms where the game is currently supported. This gives new players a chance to explore the game’s scoundrel-driven storyline and open-world environments.
On May 15, the game receives a major update with the launch of A Pirate’s Fortune, a new story pack included for Season Pass owners. It is also available as a standalone purchase. This DLC grants Ultimate and Deluxe Edition players access to the Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad cosmetic packs.
The same update will include a free content drop inspired by the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. It gives all players cosmetic rewards such as a Nix outfit, a Trophy for the speeder, and Trinkets for both the speeder and the Trailblazer. These appear in the delivery crate aboard the Trailblazer after installing the update.
Brawlhalla is getting new characters and cosmetics
Brawlhalla is hosting a Star Wars-themed event that runs until May 13, headlined by the addition of General Grievous as a Mythic Crossover for Mako. This version of Grievous uses dual-wielded lightsabers (Katars) and a single saber (Greatsword). Signature moves include crawling like a spider and wielding up to four lightsabers simultaneously.
The crossover brings the Star Wars roster in Brawlhalla to ten characters. It joins earlier additions such as Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and the Mandalorian with Grogu.
Players can also unlock two new weapon skins: the Asgardian Great Lightsaber and the Death Star Hologram orb. The latter can be earned by completing a challenge during the event’s first week. Simply logging in during the event also grants players the “Droid General” title.
