Ubisoft has announced a surprising delay to Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the game had been set to launch this November.
It has now been confirmed that the game will not launch until February 2025. Ubisoft has stated that the delay is to ‘polish & refine’ the experience.
Ubisoft Canceled Previews
The delay for Shadows may not come as a surprise to all. Insider Gaming recently reported that Ubisoft has canceled press previews for the game. These previews were due to take place next week.
Insider Gaming also reports that Ubisoft has canceled its appearance at the Tokyo Game Show.
Future Ubisoft Titles Will Release Day One on Steam
Further news on the back of the Shadows delay is that the game will arrive at launch on Steam. This has been further expanded with an announcement that all future Ubisoft titles will launch on day one on Steam.
