A new crossover DLC for Vampire Survivors is now available across all platforms. Titled Emerald Diorama, the update brings content from Square Enix’s SaGa Emerald Beyond into poncle’s action-survival game. It’s available starting today on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android (excluding Apple Arcade), and the Epic Games Store — entirely free!
Emerald Diorama adds 12 characters from SaGa Emerald Beyond, alongside 16 new weapons. These weapons include a variety of fighting styles like punches, rockets, magic, and swords. With a chance to trigger enhanced Glimmer techniques mid-battle. The new characters and weapons can be used across any existing content, including previous DLC and base game stages.
Players will also find new music tracks — remixed themes from the SaGa universe — now accessible via Vampire Survivors’ Advanced Music Selector. As with all Vampire Survivors content, local co-op is supported. Allowing up to four players to join the chaos on one screen.
Despite being a sizable crossover, Emerald Diorama doesn’t include platform achievements or trophies, though it features in-game unlockable achievements tied to the new content. The DLC is also cross-buy on PlayStation and included for those playing via Xbox Game Pass.
This collaboration emerged from the personal interest of Vampire Survivors creator Luca Galante. Who has long been a fan of the SaGa series. The partnership with Square Enix was formed to bring that love into the game.
