SEGA has announced Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition, a modernized version of the cult third-person shooter that originally launched in 2011. This enhanced edition will be available on June 10, 2025, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass, priced at €39.99 / $39.99.
Developed by SneakyBox, the Master Crafted Edition delivers numerous improvements, including 4K resolution, updated visuals, remastered audio, and modernized UI and controls tailored for new-generation players. All previously released DLC is included.
According to SneakyBox producer Vaidas Mikelskas, the goal was to create “not just a technical upgrade, but a carefully considered restoration” that bridges the legacy of the original with the expectations of today’s players.
Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition Key Features
- Enhanced Graphics and Performance: New 4K visuals, improved textures, a redesigned engine, and a move from 32-bit to 64-bit for improved stability.
- Revamped Combat: Brutal melee and ranged combat with an arsenal of iconic Space Marine weaponry.
- Multiplayer Battles: Online 8v8 matches with unlockable gear and skills across the Devastator, Assault, and Tactical classes.
- Ork Identity Overhaul: Updated ork character models and over 100 new voice lines aligned with current Warhammer 40.000 lore.
- Complete Content Package: Includes the original game and all DLC released to date.
While SEGA has not officially confirmed cloud support, we expect the title to be playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming through Game Pass, and potentially via NVIDIA GeForce NOW given its availability on PC. These services would make the game more accessible to players on low-spec devices or mobile platforms.
