Update May 18
As we suspected some of the games not listed as coming to the cloud are still coming to the cloud. This has started with Eastern Exorcist which entered Xbox Cloud gaming on May 18 alongside consoles.
And, Supraland Six Inches Under stealth dropped unto Xbox Game Pass Ultimate along with Xbox Cloud Gaming as well! It’s the sequel to Supraland which was played by some of us here on Xcloud a few month ago. They are both fantastic games!
Original Story
Xbox just announced 8 games that will be hitting Xbox Game Pass Ultimate throughout the rest of May. This games include:
- FIFA 23 (May 16)
- Eastern Exorcist (May 18)
- Ghostlore (May 18)
- Planet of Lana (May 23)
- Cassette Beasts (May 25)
- Massive Chalice (May 25)
- Railway Empire 2 (May 25)
- Chicory: A Colorful Tale (May 30)
Unfortunately, only two of these titles are currently listed for the cloud – Massive Chalice and Railway Empire 2. The latter titles is also slated to arrive on GeForce NOW on release day.
We weren’t expecting FIFA 23 to join the cloud as previous years versions have also been PC & Console only. Only Stadia has been able to ink a deal to officially get FIFA in the cloud it seems. However, we’d have hoped some of the other titles would get cloud support.
In the past however, games that were not listed as having cloud support in the above graphic and Xbox blog have often still arrived on the cloud regardless. So, we will see if any of the other 5 titles make it.
Massive Chalice
We are big fans of Double Fine Productions – who both developed and published Massive Chalice. So, we are excited to see this turn-based strategy game hit the cloud for the first time next week. Originally released back in 2016, you can check out the trailer below:
