Xbox Cloud Gaming Expands Mouse and Keyboard Support

Xbox Cloud Gaming has enhanced the gaming experience for players who prefer mouse and keyboard controls by extending support to an additional 14 games. This update allows gamers to enjoy a more PC-like experience on titles through the Xbox App and supported browsers, including Edge and Chrome.

The newly compatible games span various genres, offering something for every type of gamer. Strategy fans can delve into the urban planning of Cities: Skylines and its Remastered version, while House Flipper provides a unique take on property renovation simulations. For those seeking a medieval combat experience, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is also now an option.

The list also includes Inkulinati and Valheim, both available in Game Preview. Classic FPS enthusiasts can revisit Quake and Quake 2, now with the added precision of mouse and keyboard controls. Norco, Pikuniku, Slime Rancher 2, State of Decay 2, Terraria, and The Sims 4 round out the diverse, each benefiting from the new input method.

Xbox Cloud Gaming’s mouse and keyboard support is available to all users, following an initial period where it was exclusive to Xbox Insiders. Gamers are invited to share their experiences and preferences regarding this new feature in the comments section.

  1. I got it working,! You have to click on your avatar on the top right, go to configuration and click enable preview-features. It didn’t work at first but after a while (maybe 15 minutes) when I reloaded the page, the supported games had a little mouse symbol next to the controller symbol on the start page.
