Microsoft has introduced mouse and keyboard support for Xbox Cloud Gaming, a feature that is now available for testing by Xbox Insiders. This means that players can use the new input method on a selection of games when playing through the Edge and Chrome browsers or the Xbox app on Windows PCs.
Compatible cloud gaming titles:
- Age of Empires II
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- Atomic Heart
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Doom 64
- Fortnite
- Gears Tactics
- Grounded
- Halo Infinite
- High on Life
- Pentiment
- Sea of Thieves
- Sniper Elite 5
- Zombie Army 4: Dead War
Microsoft advises that for an optimal experience in the browser version of Xbox Cloud Gaming, users should engage full-screen mode to ensure proper pointer capture. Should players wish to switch back to using an Xbox controller, they can do so with the ALT+F9 keyboard shortcut.
