From booth demos to livestreams, here’s everything Xbox has planned for Gamescom 2025.
Games on the Show Floor
The Xbox booth at Gamescom 2025 will feature over 20 playable games spread across 120 demo stations. You’ll find a mix of upcoming first-party titles, hardware demos, and returning favourites, with several games available to the public for the first time.
Grounded 2 will be playable at the booth, offering a hands-on look at the shrunken co-op survival game from Obsidian Entertainment and Eidos Montreal. Ninja Gaiden 4 also makes its public debut, with fast-paced combat and a new direction for the series.
Fans of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can check out the base game, snap themed photos, and try the mummified cat puzzle challenge for a daily prize. The booth will also host an exclusive theater presentation of The Outer Worlds 2, featuring a guided look inside the Tomb of the Matriarch.
World’s Edge is back this year with playable demos for Age of Empires and Age of Mythology: Retold, giving fans a new look at both strategy franchises. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will also be featured, with a new city update, a familiar aircraft, and new challenge modes.
Xbox’s new handhelds, the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X, will be playable too. You’ll be able to try them with games like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Sea of Thieves, Roblox, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. ASUS will also have additional demos at their own booth.

Big Third-Party Titles at Xbox’s Gamescom Booth
Xbox is also bringing a strong third-party lineup to Gamescom 2025. Attendees can try new demos for upcoming and recently released games across genres.
Confirmed titles include Hollow Knight: Silksong, Borderlands 4, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword will also be playable, alongside Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy XVI.
Sports fans can check out EA Sports FC 26, while action and indie fans can try Super Meat Boy 3D, Aniimo, and Invincible VS. Other games on the floor include Cronos: The New Dawn, Mistfall Hunter, PowerWash Simulator 2, and There Are No Ghosts at the Grand.
Xbox also hinted at a few more surprises at the booth, so fans attending the show may have more to look forward to.

Livestream and Broadcast Details
If you can’t make it to Cologne, Xbox will be streaming live from the show floor on August 20 and 21. The broadcasts will feature gameplay reveals, developer interviews, and updates on several upcoming titles.
The first stream kicks off Wednesday, August 20. It will spotlight the ROG Ally handhelds, Grounded 2, Keeper, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The second stream airs Thursday, August 21, and will include Ninja Gaiden 4, Overwatch 2, and The Outer Worlds 2.
Both broadcasts start at 6am PT / 9am ET / 3pm CEST and will be available in multiple languages and formats, including ASL and audio descriptions. You can catch the streams on Xbox’s official YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook pages.
Bethesda is also running three days of livestreams from the Xbox booth starting August 22. Their shows will feature developer interviews, community segments, and daily event coverage on twitch.tv/bethesda_de.
Xbox Play Anywhere and Cloud Gaming at Gamescom
Xbox is highlighting its Play Anywhere approach at Gamescom 2025 with the Digital Passport Quest. This booth-wide activity encourages attendees to explore the Xbox experience across platforms for a chance to win prizes from partners like Amazon, Meta, LG, NVIDIA GeForce, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
The Quest supports Xbox’s message: buy a game once and play it across console, PC, or handhelds. With Game Pass and Play Anywhere, you can pick up where you left off on any supported device. It’s a hands-on way to show how Xbox is building a more flexible, cloud-connected ecosystem.
GeForce NOW’s role comes in as both a sponsor and a supported platform. It lets you stream Xbox Game Pass titles to devices like tablets and low-spec laptops, no console needed. That includes games like Hollow Knight: Silksong and Borderlands 4, when supported.
GeForce NOW already includes select Game Pass titles, with more third-party games joining over time.

Accessibility and Community Support
Xbox is making sure its Gamescom 2025 booth is welcoming to everyone. All areas will be wheelchair accessible, and Xbox Adaptive Controllers will be available upon request. Select demo stations will also have adjustable-height desks and monitors.
Staff will be on hand throughout the booth to assist attendees of all abilities. Whether you’re there to try a game or explore the setup, help will be easy to find.
Xbox FanFest is also returning during Gamescom, giving the community a chance to connect and celebrate together. More details on FanFest events will be shared closer to the show.
Other Major Reveals at Gamescom 2025
Outside the Xbox booth, World of Warcraft will unveil its next expansion, Midnight, with a dedicated booth in Hall 8. Fans can try the new Housing system and attend developer panels, cosplay events, and live competitions. The expansion’s opening cinematic premieres during Opening Night Live on August 19, followed by a full reveal on WoW’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will also be revealed live during Opening Night Live. More details will follow on the game’s official social channels.

Xbox is coming full force to Gamescom 2025
With more than 20 games to try, hands-on demos of new hardware, and two full days of livestreams, Xbox is showing up big at Gamescom 2025. Whether you’re attending in person or watching from home, there’s plenty to check out across console, PC, and cloud.
