Microsoft has expanded its “Stream your own game” feature to the Xbox app on PC for Xbox Insiders in the PC Gaming Preview program. Starting today, members with an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription in any of the 28 supported Xbox Cloud Gaming regions can stream select console games they own, even those not part of the Game Pass catalog, directly from the Xbox PC app.
This feature was previously available on devices like Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, select smart TVs, Meta Quest headsets, and browsers. Its arrival on PC further extends the flexibility of Xbox Cloud Gaming, allowing users to stream eligible games without installing them, saving storage space and setup time.
Notably, this includes console-only titles that were previously inaccessible through the PC app. Players simply need to navigate to the Cloud Gaming section of the app, find the Stream your own game collection, and launch a supported game they own. Microsoft says the library currently includes over 250 titles, with more to be added over time, including Xbox Play Anywhere titles and additional console exclusives.

The update is exclusive to Xbox Insiders for now. Users who want to join the program can download the Xbox Insider Hub on PC or Xbox consoles.
