Xbox is enhancing its Rewards program with exciting updates, making it easier and more rewarding for players to earn points. These changes include expanded access to Game Pass Quests, a redesigned Quest system, and new weekly rewards for all eligible Xbox players.

Game Pass Quests Expand to PC

Previously exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate members, Quests are now available for PC Game Pass members as well. This expansion, rolling out on January 7th, brings the full Rewards with Xbox experience to PC players and to gamers in Japan. Earn points by completing challenges and playing games from the Game Pass library.

How to Participate:

  • Access the Rewards Hub through your Xbox profile on console, mobile, or the Xbox app on Windows PC.
  • Complete Quests and earn points.
  • Redeem points for Xbox gift cards, in-game content, charitable donations, and more.

Note: Quests currently apply only to titles within the Game Pass catalog and exclude PC games that require third-party launchers or are played on Battle.net. Minimum playtime is required to earn points.

Redesigned Game Pass Quests

The updated Game Pass Quests offer a more streamlined and engaging experience. New features include:

  • Daily Play: Earn points daily for playing any Game Pass title for at least 15 minutes.
  • Weekly Streaks: Earn bonus points by playing for at least five days a week, with increasing multipliers for maintaining streaks.
  • Monthly Packs: Earn points for playing a set number of different Game Pass games each month.

New Rewards for All Players

Starting January 7th, 2025, all Xbox Rewards members aged 18 and older can access the new PC Weekly Bonus. Earn 150 points by playing for at least 15 minutes on 5 or more days. The Console Weekly Bonus will also be rebalanced to 150 points.

Important Update: Age Requirement for Earning Rewards Through Gameplay

To align with Xbox’s commitment to age-appropriate gaming experiences, earning Rewards points through gameplay will be restricted to players aged 18 and older. Players under 18 can still earn Microsoft Rewards points through parentally approved purchases, Bing searches, and other non-gameplay activities.
