Antstream Arcade the retro gaming cloud gaming service with over 1300+ games spanning seventeen classic gaming platforms has been on a huge winning streak as of late. Today, Antstream Arcade has released it’s two latest games, which are also the first games added to Antstream since the platform launched on iOS platforms last week. So let’s go over the two latest games on Antstream Arcade and the publishers behind them.
Stone Protectors (SNES)
The first game we have on our list is the Piko Interactive video game Stone Protectors. In this game, you play as the legendary Stone Protectors who must protect the great Gemstones of the Great Crystal home and stop them from falling into Lord Zok and his evil forces. Alongside getting a toyline this IP also received a cartoon series during the 90s. Piko Interactive actually released a Kickstarter campaign to remaster the original cartoon series for Stone Protectors. Now, this is the SNES version of this game, which means we could possibly see the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis port eventually soon.
Solaris (Atari 2600)
The second game shouldn’t be a shock to longtime readers, and that is the Atari 2600 game Solaris. In this game, you take flight as a pilot who is a brave Solaris pioneer who must take on waves of Zylon spaceships in order to save Solaris. This addition shouldn’t come as a shock to readers as Atari holds a 10% stake in Antstream so we should expect to see more games from them in the future on the platform.
