Boosteroid‘s SVP of Infrastructure, Antonina Batova, posted an update on LinkedIn confirming the company is in the middle of expanding GPU server capacity across multiple European hubs at the same time. The locations named are France, where two sites are involved, along with Poland and the Czech Republic. The partners behind the work are DC2SCALE, Polcom, and CRA.
That last name should look familiar. Polcom is the same data centre operator behind Boosteroid’s Poland deployment earlier this year. That deployment brought average latency in Poland down from around 15–20 milliseconds to roughly 5 milliseconds. Polcom showing up again here isn’t just a footnote. It tells you Boosteroid is building on infrastructure relationships that already delivered results, not hunting for new partners every time they move into a new area.
From Single-Market Moves to Multi-Hub Expansion
What makes this update different from previous Boosteroid infrastructure news is the scope. The Poland deployment in February was about proving the model in one market. The data centre project in Bielsko-Biała reported shortly after was about the deeper physical capacity needed to keep that model going. This update is something else entirely. Four locations across three countries, running at the same time.
That matters because simultaneous expansion is harder than sequential expansion. Running one new deployment through your standard architecture is manageable. Running four at once means your operational process either holds together under that load or it doesn’t. Batova’s focus in the post is on maintaining low-latency performance while the user base grows. That’s exactly the problem that breaks cloud gaming services when infrastructure can’t keep pace with demand. It’s also the part most services don’t talk about until something goes wrong.

Closer Servers Mean a Better Game
The practical side of this comes down to where those hubs sit. France covering two locations points to meaningful redundancy in Western Europe. The Czech Republic fills in a Central European gap that sits between Boosteroid’s existing German and Polish coverage. Those four sites aren’t just adding raw capacity. They’re tightening the geographic spread of the network.
This is the part that actually matters if you play on Boosteroid. Faster inputs, more stable video, and fewer dropped frames all come back to how close your connection gets to a GPU that can handle your game. If you’ve been in a region where Boosteroid worked but never felt quite as tight as you wanted, this expansion is aimed directly at that gap.
The Infrastructure Story Behind Cloud Gaming Growth
Boosteroid building out this way reinforces something worth keeping in mind about independent cloud gaming platforms. They don’t have the option of leaning on hyperscale cloud infrastructure the way some competitors can. Every new region requires a real physical commitment: partner data centres, hardware deployments, colocation agreements, and the operational work to keep all of it running consistently. There’s no shortcut version of that.
The DC2SCALE and CRA partnerships joining Polcom here suggest Boosteroid is working with multiple infrastructure partners across different markets rather than depending on a single relationship. That distributed approach reduces the risk that one partner’s limitations slow down the broader network.
Cloud gaming’s growth in Europe has always depended on whether independent platforms can build infrastructure that keeps up with demand without sacrificing performance. Boosteroid expanding across four sites simultaneously is a concrete sign that the company is treating that challenge seriously, not just talking about it.
