Absolum Gains Cross-Play Support

Absolum

Good news for fans of the side-scrolling beat-em-up title Absolum, the game has now added full cross-play support across all available platforms.

This means that you will be able to join the fight together with friends across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

Of course, if you are on Xbox, the game is also available to play via Xbox Game Pass.

We know our Rebels have been waiting and we’re beyond excited to let you know that you can fight for the future of Talamh together – right now – as full cross-platform multiplayer launches for Absolum, today!

It’s taken us a little while to get here, and we know you’ve been fighting alongside us as we prepared in the background. As a co-op multiplayer Beat ‘em Up, there’s a lot which goes into the background, and with Xbox Rebels joining the fight recently, our master code-crafters at Guard Crush have brought it all together, to bring you all together.

The fires of rebellion burn on all fronts, and we heard your calls. While cross-platform play has been on the way since launch, we’ve been polishing and tweaking, and making sure we could bring all platforms together.

And so, as of today, Rebels on Steam can now play with comrades on all platforms – including Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch!

Having personally played through Absolum on both PlayStation and Xbox, it is certainly one of my favourite games of late, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the beat-em-up genre.

The extra good news for cloud gamers is that Absolum is readily available to play in the cloud via Xbox Cloud Gaming, PlayStation Cloud Gaming, and Boosteroid.
