Amazon Luna put out their monthly blog post today. Oddly enough, for several hours they actually had two versions of that blog post out!
In the first version, the first paragraph read:
In November, we launched some amazing titles on Luna, including Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Windjammers 2, Close to the Sun and Severed Steel on the Luna+ Channel as well as Freshly Frosted, Baseball Stars 2, Thymesia, YouTubers Life: OMG Edition and Tetris Effect: Connected on the Prime Gaming Channel.
The only problem with this is that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Close to the Sun and Severed Steel haven’t actually been made available on Amazon Luna (yet at least) even though they were slated for November.
The updated version of the blog now omits those games and reads:
In November, we launched some amazing titles on the Prime Gaming Channel; Freshly Frosted, Baseball Stars 2, Thymesia, YouTubers Life: OMG Edition and Tetris Effect: Connected.
Are those three November games still coming?
Well. We are not really confident either way at this point and have reached out for clarification. But, we consider the most likely scenario to be a simple delay. We’ll let you know if we hear otherwise.
What is probably more concerning however, is that neither of the two blog post versions have any mention of new games coming to Luna in December – a month in which the service is losing over 45 titles!
On a Positive Note
Someone on the Amazon Luna team took the time to make friend of the site and cloud gaming community member Mostly Martinez an awesome graphic! Kudos to the graphic designer here.
