Antstream Arcade Adds Atari’s Swordquest Games To Library

Antstream Arcade, the world’s largest retro gaming cloud gaming service, has added a number of new games to its already large and varied retro game catalogue. All three of the newest games added to the Antstream platform come from Atari and its classic Swordquest series on the Atari 2600. So let’s dive into this update.

Swordquest: Earthworld (Atari 2600)

The first game on our list is Swordquest: Earthworld. In this game, you must go through trials, challenges and dangers which stand between you and the secret message which you are trying to uncover. This game came out in 1982, and whilst the game is primitive by today’s gaming standards, this is a game which had a lot of influence on the industry at the time.

Swordquest: Fireworld (Atari 2600)

The second game on our list is the second instalment of the Swordquest saga, Swordquest: Fireworld. In this game, you must enter the Fireworld, where blazing trials and fierce obstacles you must use your skills and courage to claim the ultimate victory. This is one of the two Swordquest games that were published by Atari in 1983 so its nice to see all the games to come together on Antstream Arcade.

Swordquest: Waterworld (Atari 2600)

The final game on our list is also the final game in the Swordquest saga, Swordquest Waterworld which was also published in 1983. In this game, you dive into the deep dark world of Waterworld to uncover the hidden clues, battle the dangers of the deep waters as you search for the legendary lost Jewelled Crown. This is definetly fun to see as we now have the entire Swordquest game series on Antstream.
