Antstream Arcade, the world’s largest retro gaming cloud service, has announced that Net Yaroze will bring brand-new video games to the retro gaming cloud platform.
Antstream Arcade Welcomes Net Yaroze
Net Yaroze was an initiative launched in 1997 by Sony to lure more indie developers to the PlayStation ecosystem. Net Yaroze was a necessary development tool to help game developers get their start on PlayStation especially as it cut development costs for PlayStation consoles, some of which even made it onto demo discs (when those were a thing). The collection of games includes standout titles such as the puzzle platformer Time Slip, the puzzle game Pushy llb, a brick-breaker style of game called Bouncer 2 and an RPG game titled Adventure Game.
“At Antstream Arcade, we’re thrilled to preserve and celebrate the spirit of innovation that Net Yaroze games represent. These titles, created by passionate developers from around the world offer a fascinating insight into the early indie gaming movement . We will continue working with these fntastic creators and developers to bring new titles to the Antstream platform.”
