Antstream Arcade, the retro gaming cloud service, has added more brand-new games to its already enormous retro gaming catalog. The games in question include two SNES titles and one Atari Lynx game. Let’s go over these games and whether you should be playing them.
Todd’s Adventures In Slime World (Atari Lynx)
The first game we are going to be going over is the Atari Lynx platforming adventure game Todd’s Adventures In Slime World. Originally developed and published by Epyx Software in 1990. In this game, you play as spaceship pilot and adventurer Todd, who after discovering a Captain’s log about Slime World goes out on a mission to uncover valuable gems from the planet. This game is a definite highlight for any fans of the Atari Lynx, as it is one of the most beloved games on the system and worth checking out on Antstream.
Super Turrican and Super Turrican Director’s Cut (SNES)
These next two games are technically the same; one just has levels that were cut from the base game. The games in question are Super Turrican and Super Turrican Director’s Cut. In this game, you must grab your Turrican Assault Suit as you fight through hordes of enemies to save the people of Katalis from the clutches of the diabolical villain known as The Machine. The Director’s Cut included today is the ultimate way to play Super Turrican, despite being released 29 years after the base game. These additions are exciting for Antstream users, as they show that Antstream’s relationship with Factor 5 is still strong.
