Antstream Arcade Adds Two New Games, Including A NES Classic

Antstream Arcade, the retro gaming cloud gaming service with over 1300+ games, has added two brand-new games to its continuously growing catalog. The games in question come from the NES and DOS platforms, so let’s go over these two games and start a discussion.

BurgerTime (NES)

The first game on our list is the NES version of the popular Data East arcade game BurgerTime. In this game, you play as a chef who must run from anthropomorphic food and who is trying to stop you from making burgers by killing you. You must climb ladders and build burgers in this mostly faithful conversion of the original arcade game. A small note that has to be made about NES versions of classic arcade games is the games look graphically different to their arcade counterparts and also tend to run slower due to the arcade versions being programmed for superior hardware.

Alien Rampage (DOS)

The second game on our list is the side-scrolling platformer from Piko Interactive, Alien Rampage. In this game, you play as Krupok who is already known by his people as The One Who Rampages but now Krupok has crashed on a hostile planet now he has even more rage to release. This game was originally released in 1996 for DOS, and it is an interesting game in itself, I’m very excited that this game is now on Antstream Arcade because it shows Piko Interactive is continuing to license even more games to the Antstream platform.
