Astro Bot’s Vicious Void Galaxy Update Adds Five New Levels and Special Bots

Astro Bot leaps between floating platforms in space during the Astro Bot Vicious Void Galaxy update, while a glowing green skull looms in the sky.

Astro Bot just got a little more chaotic with the launch of a new free update. Team Asobi’s latest content drop adds five more levels to the PS5 platformer as part of the Vicious Void Galaxy. The update goes live July 10 at 6:00am PT, 2:00pm GMT, 10:00pm JST. This latest update brings the game’s total level count to over 90!

If you’ve been enjoying the game’s mix of action and platforming, these new levels should keep the challenge going. The five new stages are called Twin-Frog Trouble, Suck It Up, Handhold Havoc, High Inflation, and one final mystery level that you’ll need to discover for yourself. Just like the last batch of Void stages, these are designed to test your timing and reflexes.

Each of the new levels also comes with its own Special Bots to find. One of them has been teased as a revengeful newcomer, but the rest are a surprise. These character-inspired robots have become a fan-favourite part of the game, and this update keeps the tradition going.

Team Asobi’s Nicolas Doucet shared his appreciation for the community. And, confirmed the new content is available at no extra cost. Whether you’re hopping back in to chase down every Bot or just looking for new challenges, there’s more to enjoy starting today.
