Blacknut has added three more games to its cloud gaming library, with Deadlink, Heading Out, and BUTCHER now joining the service. All three games are published by Crunching Koalas. This batch of new games brings a more action-heavy mix to Blacknut than some of its recent family-friendly updates.
The three additions cover very different corners of the library. Deadlink is a cyberpunk FPS with roguelite elements. Heading Out mixes driving with story choices across American highways. BUTCHER brings old-school 2D shooting with a much harsher arcade edge.
Deadlink
Deadlink drops you into a cyberpunk shooter where each attempt is about movement, weapons, upgrades, and surviving room after room of enemies. The roguelite structure keeps each attempt from playing out the exact same way, so you’re constantly adjusting your build and trying to last a little longer.
Heading Out
Heading Out is a story-driven driving game inspired by cult road movies, with racing, chase sequences, and choices made across a stylized version of America. It isn’t a standard arcade racer, and it isn’t just a story game either. The road-trip structure separates it from Blacknut’s other racing games.
BUTCHER
BUTCHER is the oldest and most aggressive game in the update. It’s a 2D action shooter with a retro arcade feel, small combat spaces, heavy weapons, and a punishing pace. Compared with Deadlink and Heading Out, it has the harshest tone in this three-game update and should fit anyone who wants a tougher throwback shooter.
