Blacknut‘s Nabil Laredj has joined the jury for Paris Game Biz 2026, which takes place October 20–21 in Paris. As Blacknut’s VP of Business Development and Licensing, he handles global partnerships and agreements that bring games to the cloud gaming service.

Laredj is among the industry professionals reviewing game projects submitted for this year’s event. Paris Game Biz brings selected studios together with publishers and investors for two days of business meetings.

Paris Game Biz Connects Studios With Publishers

The event gives game studios an opportunity to secure publishing agreements or attract investment. Now in its third edition, the event is organized by Capital Games and takes place at Espace Cléry in Paris.

Studios could submit projects from July 27 through September 14. An industry jury evaluates the submissions, while organizers also consider what participating publishers and investors are interested in. Selected studios can purchase an event pass that includes access to MeetToMatch to schedule meetings with potential partners.

Laredj joins professionals with experience across game production, development and business. Laura Fournier is a senior gameplay producer on Helldivers 2 at Arrowhead Game Studios. Soukayna Ennaji previously worked at Virtuos and now mentors independent studios in Morocco, Nigeria and France. Marine Lemaitre Freland, the CEO of Piece of Cake Studios, is also on the jury.

Blacknut’s Publisher Partnerships

Laredj’s role at Blacknut involves developing partnerships and licensing games for the service. Its recent agreements with tinyBuild and Acclaim provide some context for his involvement.

Blacknut partnered with tinyBuild in June to bring games from the publisher’s catalogue to its cloud gaming service. The first arrivals included Asterigos: Curse of the Stars, Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets and Tinykin. In July, Blacknut announced an agreement with Acclaim, covering four games including Katanaut and Basketball Classics.

Laredj commented on both agreements, discussing how cloud gaming can help publishers bring their games to audiences across different devices and regions. That background in content licensing and publisher relationships gives him experience relevant to the projects being evaluated at Paris Game Biz.

Those meetings take place October 20–21 at Espace Cléry, bringing selected studios face to face with potential publishing and investment partners.
