Blacknut has started adding tinyBuild games to its cloud gaming library, and the first wave covers three very different games. Asterigos: Curse of the Stars, Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets, and Tinykin are now appearing on the service, covering action RPG, music-action, and puzzle-platforming in one update.
We covered the Blacknut and tinyBuild partnership earlier this month, when six games were listed as expected additions. Now the rollout has started, with three very different games giving Blacknut subscribers a clear first look at the publisher’s catalogue.
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is an action RPG inspired by Greek and Roman mythology. You explore the cursed city of Aphes, fight mythical enemies, and follow Hilda as she searches for answers behind the city’s curse. It’s the action RPG of this first tinyBuild batch, and it gives Blacknut something heavier than a quick arcade-style addition.
Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets
Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets is a music-action game with original songs, boss fights, and timing-based stages. You move through 3D environments by keeping pace with the beat, while the story keeps things silly with King Papa Gâteau and a candy-themed threat.
Rhythm Sprout is the quickest of the three to understand. You get the idea fast, but the timing demands mean it can still push back if you want something more active than a simple puzzle game.
Tinykin
Tinykin is a puzzle-platformer about Milo, a tiny explorer trying to get back home. You collect tinykin creatures and use their different abilities to move through oversized house environments, solve puzzles, and reach new areas.
It’s the most family-friendly game in this update, and it fits Blacknut’s usual library well. Tinykin also rounds out the tinyBuild batch nicely because it brings a completely different pace from Asterigos: Curse of the Stars and Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets.
