From concerts and trailers to new artwork and merchandise, here’s what CD PROJEKT RED has announced so far.
Celebrating 10 Years of The Witcher 3
To start the anniversary celebrations, CD PROJEKT RED released a special trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The video presents a memory-filled look at the game’s story and thanks the community for being part of the journey.
The studio also hosted a special REDstreams episode featuring Geralt’s voice actor Doug Cockle and English Adaptation Director Borys Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz. Cockle reflected on his two decades voicing Geralt, noting that he got emotional recording his final lines for Blood and Wine, knowing it might be the end of Geralt’s journey. He also shared how the role gave him the freedom to shape his career on his own terms.
The stream included stories about casting, Geralt’s voice direction, and favorite moments from the series. Cockle revealed he drew inspiration from Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry during the early voice sessions and recalled being asked repeatedly to lower his voice and reduce emotion. Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz added that Geralt’s voice was meant to anchor the world, steady and calm, while still conveying sarcasm and depth without overt emotion.
Both guests also shared personal fan stories and thanked the community for the role it has played in keeping the series alive.
The Witcher in Concert
As part of the anniversary, The Witcher in Concert is returning with two special performances. The first will take place in Boston on May 31, followed by a second event in Poznań on June 15. These concerts will feature an ensemble orchestra performing music from the series, paired with visuals and gameplay.
The tour’s official kickoff is scheduled for gamescom in Cologne on August 20. The Witcher in Concert is planned as a full tour, with more cities and dates to be revealed over time. Tickets for the European leg of the tour are available now on the official Witcher in Concert website. CD PROJEKT RED also noted that more dates and locations will be announced.
Art, Merch, and the Return of The Little Witcher
As part of the anniversary, CD PROJEKT RED revealed several collaborations and collectibles tied to The Witcher 3. A new series of 10 artworks has been created by artists who have contributed to the series over the years. These include Przemysław “Trust” Truściński, who designed Geralt’s original look. And, Grzegorz Przybyś, known for his artwork in the game’s opening scenes. Each piece will be printed on Displate’s metal canvas and made available on merchandise like T-shirts and mugs.
A new comic collection titled The Little Witcher was also announced. Published by Random House Worlds, the book follows Geralt raising a young Ciri at Kaer Morhen. The tone is described as lighthearted, offering a different perspective on their relationship. The Little Witcher is available in hardcover and ebook formats.
The studio also highlighted a new partnership with Embody, bringing personalized spatial audio to the game through the Immerse Gamepack. Gamers who already own the Cyberpunk 2077 version will receive the Witcher 3 version at no extra cost.
More Witcher 3 Surprises Coming
The 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is more than just a milestone. For CD PROJEKT RED, it’s a chance to reflect on the journey of the game and its community. Doug Cockle and Borys Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz shared stories from the past two decades. They spoke about the challenges of shaping Geralt’s voice and the emotional weight of saying goodbye to the character after Blood and Wine. Cockle said the role gave him the freedom to make career choices that still shape his life today.
During the livestream, CD PROJEKT RED teased that more surprises are still on the way. From concerts and commemorative artwork to special editions and new comics, the celebrations are ongoing.
