Netflix Cloud Gaming, the cloud gaming service built into the Netflix streaming service, has added a brand-new party game, Codenames Party, which is based on the popular 2015 tabletop game.
So What Is Codenames Party About?
So what is this game about? Originally released as a tabletop game in 2015 by Czech Games Edition, you play as rival spymasters who know the secret identities of 25 agents and teammates, and you must guess the identity of the agents based on clever one-word clues. There is also an exclusive mode in this game where everyone is a spymaster and the guesser at the same time. The official Netflix description for this game reads:
Take turns coming up with clever code words and guessing which cards they point to in this party game of wits and wordplay. Try to find all your spies!
