EE Unveils New Partnership With GeForce NOW

EE, a mobile network provider based in the United Kingdom, has today announced that it has entered into a new partnership with Nvidia GeForce NOW which will form part of EE’s ambition to become ‘the number one destination for gamers’.

The partnership will see EE offer two Nvidia GeForce NOW cloud gaming bundles:

Smart TV Bundle

This bundle includes a Samsung CU7100 Smart TV, a Turtle Beach Recon Controller and a 6-month GeForce NOW Ultimate Membership. This bundle is available at £22 per month on a 24-month contract, there is also a £10 upfront fee.

Laptop Bundle

The laptop bundle features a Samsung Chromebook 2 360, a Razer Basilisk gaming mouse and a 6-month GeForce NOW Ultimate Membership. This bundle will cost £23 per month, on a 24-month contract and there is also a £10 upfront fee.

In order to test the limits of one of their new cloud gaming bundles, EE teamed up with video game streamer Leah ‘Leahviathan’ Alexandra and sent her to the slopes of Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, 1500ft above sea level, where she live-streamed a game session.

Sam Kemp, Director of Gaming at EE,commented: “We wanted to put our new great value cloud gaming bundles to the ultimate test – and what better way than in the actual clouds, with the UK’s highest-altitude gaming den. Our new bundles, featuring GeForce NOW, really will make high-level gaming experiences even more accessible and affordable to customers across the UK.”

Leah ‘Leahviathan’ Alexandra said: “Test-driving EE’s cloud gaming bundles, in the actual clouds, at the UK’s highest-altitude gaming den was a very cool experience. I’ve recently trekked in the area and realise how difficult it can be to get a great gaming experience on the move, so it was the perfect place to put the EE bundles to the ultimate test – showcasing how they can help make great gaming experiences even more accessible.”
