Ahead of the Elden Ring Nightreign network test, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment have officially announced the release date for Elden Ring Nightreign, May 30. The game, will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
With its unique co-op gameplay and a new focus on dynamic day-and-night cycles, Nightreign will challenge players in new and unforgiving ways unlike anything before. Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store.
Surviving the Three-Day Challenge
Elden Ring Nightreign features a three-day survival challenge. Players face dangerous enemies, changing environments, and a shrinking safe zone marked by encroaching fire.
In this mode, you can team up in groups of three or face challenges by yourself. You can choose from eight distinct character classes, known as Nightfarers, each equipped with unique abilities. Success depends on managing resources, exploring new areas, and preparing for powerful end-of-day bosses.
At the end of the three-day cycle, you’ll face powerful bosses called Nightlords. Working together and using each Nightfarer’s abilities is key to defeating them.
If you don’t make it, you’ll still earn relics. These relics help you customize and improve your character. Each run makes you stronger and more prepared for the next attempt.
