Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 will be free to play from August 4th (that’s today!) through Monday August 8th as part of Stadia’s regularly recurring Free Play Days program. Play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran and become a guerrilla fighter to liberate the nation in this action shooter – one of the best new games of the year on any platform. The island nation of Yara is an awesome setting for the game which also features Stadia’s Stream Connect technology in co-op mode; so you and your partner can see each other’s action.
With up to 100 hours of gameplay, it is safe to say you won’t be completing this title in the Free Play Day timeframe. However, don’t worry, when the offer ends your in-game progress will be saved but you will need to purchase the title to continue.
If you don’t have chance to play this weekend Stadia has your back, Far Cry 6 is one of over 120 trials that are free to play, even without a Stadia account. Just using your Gmail account, you can access over 103 hours of trials.
