FIFA 23 is now available to play via Xbox Cloud Gaming – both the Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X versions are available.
This makes it the first time the franchise has been available to play on Xbox’s cloud gaming service. You can of course play it on Shadow PC or via Boosteroids download and install category. The franchise was also previously available to play in the cloud via the Google Stadia cloud gaming platform before it shut down earlier this year.
Previous FIFA titles have been available to download and play as part of Xbox Game Pass. This is due to the partnership between Xbox and EA that makes the EA Play subscription service part of your Xbox Game Pass membership. However, the FIFA titles were never available to play on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
EA recently unveiled their new Football/Soccer title, EA Sports FC 24 which will officially take the place of its FIFA video game franchise when it launches on the 29th of September 2023. This comes after EA and FIFA decided to end their partnership due to FIFA licensing fees.
