It is always great to be able to play a brand-new release in the Cloud, especially when it is a highly anticipated one.
PlayStation has provided us with one such game, with their latest release, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, as you can now play the game in the Cloud via PS5 Cloud Streaming.
The information comes to us from Inlead on Twitter (X) who is a very good friend of the site:
Of course, to do so you must own the game and be subscribed to the PlayStation Plus Premium Tier – which provides the extra benefit of Cloud Streaming. You also have to stream the title to a PS5 – as PS5 cloud streaming doesn’t support PS4 consoles or PCs yet.
We would certainly love to see PlayStation add more of their big releases into their Cloud Streaming service at launch.
