Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have released details on Fog of Diaspero, the latest major update for Lost Ark. The October patch adds the Kazeros Raid Prelude: Destined Trajectory. It also includes a new season of competitive PvP, and several in-game events and rewards.
Kazeros Raid Prelude: Destined Trajectory
A new storyline begins in Elnead, where players can meet the NPC Journey’s Trace to start the Kazeros Raid Prelude. The questline connects previous acts and prepares players for the coming Act 4 raid against Kazeros, the Lord of the Abyss. Completing Acts 1–3 of the prologue, the Rimeria World Quest, and the Hyper Awakening quests are required to begin this new chapter. Two new achievements are also included.

Proving Grounds Season 7
The new season introduces the Three Champions mode to Competitive Match for the first time. Players ranked Ultra 1 and above can take part in Fury PvP. Standard rating resets and seasonal rewards return when the season concludes next year.
Arktober Lucky Box Event
Running through December 17, the Arktober Lucky Box event lets players complete daily and special missions. By doing so, they can earn boxes filled with items like honing materials, trade goods, cards, and more. Surprise Boxes have a chance to contain rare rewards such as Relic Engraving Selection Chests, Legendary Card Packs, and Chaos Stones with a guaranteed success rate.
Mist Knight Ark Pass
Players can progress through 30 Ark Pass levels by completing missions across their roster. The free version provides rewards like Pheons, honing material selection chests, and card packs. Premium and Super Premium tiers, purchasable with Royal Crystals, add additional rewards. These include exclusive cosmetics like Mist Knight skins, the Fluffy Cat mount, and a matching pet.

In related news, Amazon Games announced yesterday that New World: Aeternum will cease receiving new content updates following the release of its Season 10: Nighthaven update. Amazon Games stated that while servers will remain online through 2026, continued content development is no longer sustainable. To thank the community, both the Nighthaven update and Rise of the Angry Earth expansion have been made free for players.
