Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 6 Season 2, called LAWLESS, is now live. This season brings a crime-themed experience filled with heists, unique locations, and new characters. You can ransack banks, take over armoured cars, and pull off train robberies across the Island. Outlaw Midas returns, joined by Fletcher Kane, a ruthless kingpin, and Big Dill, a hip-hop outlaw aiming to control Crime City.
With new weapons, tools, and a new Battle Pass, there’s plenty of chaos waiting. Let’s break down what LAWLESS has to offer.
Explore Crime City and Key Locations
Crime City is a new hub filled with opportunities for high-stakes action. You can check out spots like the Hostile Hotel, Wise Guys Bookstore, and the Launder Mat. Need a break? Head to Outlaw Oasis, a spa where thieves go to unwind. Shiny Shafts is another key location if you’re looking to get your hands on some gold.
If you’re up for a challenge, try taking on Fletcher Kane’s heavily guarded mansion, Lonewolf Lair. It’s risky, but there’s a chance for some valuable loot.
Gold Rush, Dill Bits, and Heist Details
Swimming in gold-infused water gives you the Gold Rush effect, boosting your speed and Pickaxe damage. You can also mine Gold Veins to earn Bars. This season introduces a new currency called Dill Bits, created by Big Dill. You can spend them at Black Markets for top-tier items, but they don’t carry over between matches—so use them or lose them.
Robbing banks, armored transports, or even Fletcher Kane’s armored train are all on the table. Fletcher might show up during a heist, and if you manage to take him down, you’ll earn the Mythic Double Down Pistol and the Unstoppable Medallion.
New Weapons, Items, and Tools
Breaking into vaults is easier with tools like Thermite explosives and the Rocket Drill. New weapons like the Outlaw Shotgun and Falcon Eye Sniper give you more combat options, while the dual-wield Pump & Dump combo lets you handle close-to-mid-range fights. Defensive tools like the Port-A-Cover and Pulse Scanner can be real lifesavers during a heist.
Other helpful items include the Med-Mist Grenade for quick healing and the Gold Splash, which gives you the Gold Rush effect while restoring health or shield.
New Boons and Ongoing Rewards
This season brings new Boons that can give you a real advantage during your heists. The Vulture Boon reveals the locations of where enemies have been eliminated, so you’ll always know where the action’s happening. Whether you’re hunting for loot or trying to stay one step ahead of the competition, this Boon can help you plan your next move.
The Gold Rush Boon boosts your efficiency when mining, giving you even more Bars as you gather gold. It works great with the Gold Rush mechanic, helping you make the most of your mining efforts. Whether you’re swimming in gold-infused water or breaking open Gold Veins, this Boon will speed up the process.
The best part? These Boons don’t disappear when you’re eliminated. So if you get taken out mid-match, you can still keep the benefits if you’re rebooted. This makes them especially useful in high-risk situations, giving you an edge that could turn the tide of the game in your favour.
LAWLESS Battle Pass and Season Rewards
The LAWLESS Battle Pass brings a ton of new content, including a variety of new outfits. Unlock outfits like Cassidy Quinn, an experienced outlaw, Fletcher Kane, a crime boss with a tight grip on Crime City, and Sub-Zero, the cryomancer known from Mortal Kombat.
In addition, the Outlaw Midas Outfit will be unlockable through Battle Pass Quests starting in March. Completing these challenges will grant you this familiar character with a new look. The Battle Pass also includes various other rewards, such as sprays, emotes, and loading screens, all fitting with the season’s theme of crime and high-stakes activities.
The Battle Pass will be available for purchase and progression until May 2, 2025, giving you plenty of time to unlock the rewards. It offers a range of outfits, items, and challenges, all tied to the season’s theme.
