Xbox have recently had a massive influx of games to the service, but at the cost of…well, money. They have added Hogwarts Legacy as well as a slew of Ubisoft Classics. But, with all the games coming, some have to leave. In mid-October, we will be saying goodbye to these four games:
Cocoon
Leaving 16 October
From Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of LIMBO and INSIDE — COCOON takes you on an adventure across worlds within worlds. Master world-leaping mechanics and solve intricate puzzles to unravel a cosmic mystery.
Donut County
Leaving 16 October
Donut County is a story-based physics puzzle game where you play as an ever-growing hole in the ground. Meet cute characters, steal their trash, and throw them in a hole.
Core Keeper
Leaving 16 October
Explore an endless cavern of creatures, relics and resources in a mining sandbox adventure for 1-8 players. Mine, build, fight, craft and farm to unravel the mystery of the ancient Core.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleased
Leaving 16 October
Welcome to the streets of New York City, where the best pizza and human-mutant chaos reigns. It’s up to the Turtle brothers to restore the peace in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed! New mutants (or as the Turtles coined them, Mewbies) have been doing well to be accepted by the citizens.
While it’s always disappointing to see games leaving the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Cloud Gaming library, it’s important to remember that new titles are regularly added to the service. Players can look forward to the arrival of exciting new games in the near future.
Players can also save up to 20% with your membership discount to keep these games in your library! And don’t forget that a lot of the titles leaving Game Pass Ultimate do make their way into the “Stream Your Own Game” library.
As always, remember to follow us on our social media (e.g., Threads, X (Twitter), Bluesky, YouTube and Facebook) to keep up with the latest news.
