GameSir has revealed a new collection of officially licensed Fortnite mobile controllers. The lineup includes the X5 Lite for XBOX Fortnite Edition, which supports XBOX Cloud Gaming and Remote Play on Android phones.
The G8 Plus Fortnite Edition is also part of the collection, with support for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, tablets and PC. Both controllers are now up for pre-order through GameSir. The X5 Lite is $49.99 USD, while the G8 Plus is $89.99 USD.
X5 Lite for XBOX Supports XBOX Cloud Gaming and Remote Play
XBOX Cloud Gaming and Remote Play are both supported on the X5 Lite for XBOX when it’s connected to an Android phone. The controller’s official XBOX licence also ties it into the XBOX Game Pass ecosystem.
It uses a wired USB-C connection and also works with iPhone and iPad. The controller is MFi certified as well. Its XBOX Cloud Gaming and Remote Play support, however, specifically applies to Android phones.
The Fortnite Edition adds themed artwork and a digital in-game bonus item. The exact bonus depends on the edition, with Fortnite gliders and emotes included across the collection.
We covered the standard X5 Lite for XBOX in August as part of XBOX’s 25th anniversary controller lineup. The Fortnite Edition uses that controller as its base, then adds the licensed Fortnite design and bonus content.
G8 Plus Fortnite Edition Covers More Devices
The G8 Plus Fortnite Edition works with Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, tablets and PC. It also includes Hall Effect sticks, two remappable rear buttons, full-size controls and a console-style grip.
Unlike the X5 Lite for XBOX, the G8 Plus isn’t an XBOX-licensed controller. The X5 Lite is tied directly to XBOX Cloud Gaming and Remote Play, while the G8 Plus works across more devices.
Pricing, Designs and Bonus Items
Both controllers are already available to pre-order through GameSir. The X5 Lite for XBOX Fortnite Edition is listed at $49.99 USD. The G8 Plus Fortnite Edition is $89.99 USD.
The collection is also set to launch this fall through Amazon, Best Buy, AliExpress, TikTok Shop and Walmart. Both models come in Fortnite-themed designs and include digital bonus content.
The X5 Lite editions come with a mix of Fortnite gliders and an emote. G8 Plus editions include Fortnite emotes. The X5 Lite for XBOX Fortnite Edition is expected to ship in October 2026.
